Pokemon, probably the best game I played when I was young (er), and I truly loved the Gold and Silver games for the GBC. It was not until later that I first played Red and Blue, the first games. I don't remember much about them, but there is one absolutely unforgetable part of the games, and that was Lavender Town.

Lavender Town Johto was fun, and I got the PokeFlute Radio card there, but the one in Kanto was just terrifying. Back then, I avoided the town because the music would haunt me, but there is another thing. When I was a kid, I couldn't read well,. so I didn't know what was going on, but right when I saw the ghost of the Marowak, I was scared silly. I now know that dead Pokemon live in the tower. This was weird because until then, I thought Pokemon only fainted. It was weird that Game Freak would add this in a children's game, not to even mention the fact that Team Rocket killed the mother Marowak. Ugh, this is weird...
